Almost there.
Taken ages to get a rear wheel sorted. They're fetching such ridiculous prices on fleabay. In the end I bought a Dura Ace hub for a very reasonable price from Simon at Webbs in Warmley and got him to build it onto the rim I already had. (Bumped the cost up and ruined my 'on the cheap' plans but what the heck, it should still be all in for less than £150).
Also a faff getting the brake caliper to fit (an old Shimano SLR from the spares box) due to the very small clearance between chunky campag headset and the top of the fork. In the end I had to scrounge some spacers from Johns Bikes and file them down on one side (to 'moon' shaped).
Front wheel, bars, stem, seatpost, pedals, saddle (a bit torn but I call that 'well worn') all from the spares box.
New Michelin Speediums a bargain off the web (£10 the pair).
Dura Ace sprocket (32nd 16 tooth) and bar tap on order, should hopefully arrive next week.
