This was my first Timber Rattlesnake - too bad my point and shoot was in the car. I had WAY too much lens - I had to get back far enough to focus and there was no way to fit it into the frame. The farther back I got, the more branches in the way.

Timber has such a cool character. He lives at Blaeberry Mountain Lodge, Golden, Canada. We stayed there Oct 2006 and Timber used to pay us a visit in the mornings. I think he liked the smell of the bacon we had for breakfast.
