Bohuslava Kovalská si nedávno s manželem do pěstounské péče ke svým dvěma dětem vzala další tři. Rodiče jí totiž ubližovali, stejně tak jako biologická matka dětí ubližovala jim. A pomáhat druhým pomáhá i jí samotné.
„Matka ty děti nechávala samotné, spaly venku ve stanu, nedostávaly najíst. Malého Domču zmlátila do hrudníku pěstmi tak, že ztratil vědomí. Dana svázala izolepou a pálila ho cigaretami,“ vysvětluje se slzami v očích.
Z dětí jsou nejlepší přátelé. V druhém patře domu pro ně rekonstruují nové pokojíčky. Přiznává však, že je to náročné časově i psychicky. Daří se jim však dobře. Manžel pracuje v zahraničí, aby pro rodinu vydělal potřebné peníze.
„Strašně mě hřeje u srdce, když vidím, jak se těm dětem daří. Začátky ve škole byly hrozně těžké, děti mi ale důvěřují, smějeme se, objímáme se, říkají mi mami. Jsem ráda, že tu pro ně můžu být,“ dodává a rukávem si otírá slzy. Z gest i pohybů ve tváři z ní čiší láska i radost z pouta, které s dětmi má.
Zvládneme to, řekli si
Manžel má podle ní zlaté srdce, nikdy na ni netlačil, a když si potřebovala o svém dětství popovídat, byl jí vždy na blízku. Domluvili se, že budou žít slušně a pomáhat tam, kde bude potřeba. Na začátku nic neměli, začínali úplně od nuly. Pronajali si dům a nějakou dobu spali na kartonech, aby mohli na nábytek postupně našetřit.
„Když jsme viděli, že někdo potřebuje pomoct, pomohli jsme, i když jsme sami měli málo. Maminkám samoživitelkám jsme přispívali na nájem a snažili jsme se jim nabídnout i naše přátelství. Chci tak nějak splatit společnosti to, že jsem ze svého dětství vyvázla relativně dobře,“ podotýká dnes čtyřiatřicetiletá Kovalská.
Nyní mají moderně vybavený dvoupatrový dům. Proč si ho nechávat jen pro sebe, říkali si. Rekonstruovali ho postupně z toho, co jim zbylo z výplat, nyní je plně zařízený a útulný. Za domem je i zahrada, kde si spolu rádi u kávy všichni povídají. Ve volném čase chodí s dětmi do lesa sbírat bylinky nebo jezdí tábořit pod stan.
S dětmi si rozumí, protože se do jejich bolesti dokáže snadno vcítit. Matka Kovalské ubližovala, a dovolila to i mužům, které si často vodila domů. „Můj otec si řezal žíly v koupelně, protože si domů dovedla jiného. Byla sobecká, sebestředná, a když měla blbou náladu, tak si to šla vybít na mně,“ vzpomíná Kovalská.
Otec si ji bral do postele
Rodiče se rozvedli, když byla ještě malá. Zůstala u otce, ale ne na dlouho. „Můj otec za mnou chodil do postele, proto jsem později utekla k matce. Šplhala jsem v pyžamu po lešení a šla za ní dvacet kilometrů pěšky domů,“ vypráví tichým hlasem. Tehdy o tom nikomu neřekla, spoustu let o svém příběhu mlčela. Proto velmi dobře věděla, proč dětem trvalo tak dlouho nahlas promluvit. Rozuměla jim.
S matkou a sestrou žily prakticky bez jídla. Často je nutila krást v obchodech, o Vánocích je bila. V jedenácti letech požádala Kovalská sociální orgány, ať ji i sestru vezmou pryč. Dělaly, že ji neslyší.
Uvěřily až ve chvíli, kdy se k nim přišly podívat domů. Matka už nestihla zamaskovat to, že měl pokoj jen jednu skříň a v ní poházené věci, mezi kterými jedna z jejích dcer musela spát.
Sestra jí to měla za zlé. Byla příliš malá a nerozuměla, co se doma děje. „Nevěřila mi, že jsem nás potřebovala zachránit. Chtěla jsem jí otevřít oči, ale šla jsem na to bohužel špatně,“ říká hnědovláska smutně. Jelikož sestře Kovalská fyzicky ublížila, byla jejich cesta rozdělena. Sestra šla do pěstounské rodiny, ona do výchovného ústavu.
V ústavu poznala, jak má rodina fungovat
Vychovatelé jí byli v pubertě vždy velkým vzorem. Díky nim poznala, jak rodina vlastně funguje. Chtěla žít slušně, pracovat a pomáhat, přesně jako oni. Ale detaily svého příběhu jim nikdy neřekla.
Byla ve Výchovném ústavu v Brandýse nad Orlicí, který je pouze pro dívky do 18 let. Vychovatelé si tam s nimi povídali a pomáhali jim řešit osobní věci i výzvy, kterým zrovna čelily. Na „komunitách“ otevřeně s vychovateli diskutovali, navzájem si radili a pomáhali. O víkendech dívky samy sestavovaly rozpočet na jídlo, o prázdninách jezdily na vodu, pochody i výlety do hor.
Jednou na Vánoce jí do ústavu matka zavolala. Hovor byl nahlas, tudíž ho slyšeli všichni, kteří prošli kolem. „Řekla, že mi přeje, ať chcípnu,“ vypráví Kovalská zachmuřeně.

Když z ústavu v osmnácti letech odcházela, neměla kam jít. Ve městě potkala svou tetu, která jí nabídla, že se o ni postará. „Vydělávala si tak, že si zvala do postele chlapy. Vzala mi veškeré příjmy, byla jsem pro ni vyloženě otrokem. Ale já byla moc vděčná, že mám kde spát a co jíst,“ vysvětluje a hlas se jí na chvíli zlomí. Teta o tom, že si ji otec bral do postele, celé ty roky věděla, nehodlala však říct nahlas jediné slovo.
K mužům cítila strach i odpor, hodně se jich kvůli otci bála. Jednou k nim domů přišel muž, který se vydával za fotografa. Tetě nabídl deset tisíc korun za to, že svou neteř vyfotí v koupelně nahou. O pár dní později teta pořádala oslavu. Když se dívka sprchovala, zaklepala jí na dveře. „Řekla mi, že jí není dobře. Hned jsem vylezla a hodila si přes sebe narychlo ručník. Ten mi strhla a začala mě fotit,“ popisuje a tvář si zakryje dlaněmi.
V tu chvíli tam přišel jeden z hostů, který přes ni přehodil košili a odvedl ji pryč. Při této vzpomínce Kovalské teče po tváři jedna slza za druhou. Natáhne se pro kapesník a zběžně si slzy utírá. Stydí se za ně. Téma je pro ni stále velmi citlivé a bolestné.
Bála se, že jí opět uvidí jako ženu, a ne jako dítě. Ale on takový nebyl. „Strašně mi pomohl, stal se mým tátou. Umřel před dvěma lety, umřel mi v náručí. Díky němu jsem pocítila, že ne všichni jsou takoví. Ne všichni chtějí jen zneužívat ostatní,“ pláče. Sám měl dceru, ale i přesto si ji k sobě domů vzal a staral se o ni jako o vlastní. Pracoval jako řidič, v kamionu s ním procestovala půlku světa.
Byl to právě tento muž, který jí na její cestě nejvíce pomohl. Vyslechl ji, držel za ruku a pomohl jí opět se postavit na nohy. Později si našla práci v kavárně i přítele. Svět se jí na chvíli zklidnil, začala lidem pomalu opět věřit.
Nebylo to však vůbec jednoduché. Minulost ji často doháněla v myšlenkách i v životě. Majitel kavárny ji vyhodil kvůli lživému podezření z krádeže, přítel se s ní nakonec rozešel kvůli tomu, že prošla výchovným ústavem. S intimitou i důvěrou poté měla problémy mnoho let.
Děti v ústavech často trpí za chyby rodičů
Výchovný ústavJe zařízení, které je pro děti od 15 do 18 let. Je určené pro ty, kterým byla kvůli problému v chování nařízena ochranná či ústavní výchova. Mezi důvody nařízení patří užívání návykových látek, nerespektování výchovné autority rodičů, kriminalita či záškoláctví. Mezi nejčastější důvody však patří problémy v rodině a traumata z dětství, které mnohdy poruchu chování spustí. |
„Lidi se ani nezamýšlejí nad tím, co ostatní mohli zažít. Většinou se děti nerozhodly samy od sebe být špatné, trpí v ústavech za chyby rodičů,“ podotýká a natáhne se na stůl pro kapesník. Dodává však, že tomu tak samozřejmě není vždy.
Věděla, že pokud by se jí tenkrát řidič kamionu nezastal, na nohy by se sama nepostavila. A to je právě jeden z důvodů, proč se rozhodla pomoci dětem, které si vzala do pěstounské péče.
Je jí líto, že děti nemají babičku. Nehroutí se z toho, výjimečně si popláče, ale podotýká, že má víc, než kdy chtěla. Až se děti více zabydlí, nevylučuje Kovalská ani práci v kavárně, která ji tenkrát tak moc bavila.

Nebylo to však vůbec jednoduché. Minulost ji často doháněla v myšlenkách i v životě. Majitel kavárny ji vyhodil kvůli lživému podezření z krádeže, přítel se s ní nakonec rozešel kvůli tomu, že prošla výchovným ústavem. S intimitou i důvěrou poté měla problémy mnoho let.

Výchovný ústavJe zařízení, které je pro děti od 15 do 18 let. Je určené pro ty, kterým byla kvůli problému v chování nařízena ochranná či ústavní výchova. Mezi důvody nařízení patří užívání návykových látek, nerespektování výchovné autority rodičů, kriminalita či záškoláctví. Mezi nejčastější důvody však patří problémy v rodině a traumata z dětství, které mnohdy poruchu chování spustí. |
„Lidi se ani nezamýšlejí nad tím, co ostatní mohli zažít. Většinou se děti nerozhodly samy od sebe být špatné, trpí v ústavech za chyby rodičů,“ podotýká a natáhne se na stůl pro kapesník. Dodává však, že tomu tak samozřejmě není vždy.
Věděla, že pokud by se jí tenkrát řidič kamionu nezastal, na nohy by se sama nepostavila. A to je právě jeden z důvodů, proč se rozhodla pomoci dětem, které si vzala do pěstounské péče.
Je jí líto, že děti nemají babičku. Nehroutí se z toho, výjimečně si popláče, ale podotýká, že má víc, než kdy chtěla. Až se děti více zabydlí, nevylučuje Kovalská ani práci v kavárně, která ji tenkrát tak moc bavila.
