Magnolia & Pink Single Tier Wedding Cake This lucky bride and groom had 2 wedding cakes. The Magnolia flower cake was used for the formal ceremony and the pink and chocolate shard cake for the reception. Both cakes were made from chocolate and vanilla marble, with the formal cake being covered in white fondant. As the bride was wearing a dress that had numerous flowers in shades of pink, the cake was designed to match the style & colours. The cake board was embossed with a rose pattern to compliment the cake. The chocolate shard cake was covered in dark chocolate shards, with chocolate shavings and a sugar flower Lilly. The cake was completed with a pink silk ribbon in keeping with the wedding colours. Wedding Cake Number 2! My second wedding cake, done and dusted! Bottom tier is 10" light fruit and top is 8" Chocolate with my first ever gumpaste flower spray! Was touch and go for a while but am pleased with the result. I took it to the venue and set it up, was SO nervous - the last one I took it to the ladies house and so I saw her reaction, this time I have no idea if the bride likes it or not, strange feeling!!!
