Supplies:

2 rolls of Duck brand duct tape (I hear this brand doesn't shrink over time the way others will. This is according the the internets, your mileage may vary). 60 yards of the general purpose type. You might want to buy a 3rd roll just to ensure you don't run out.
Scissors
A tightly fitting t-shirt you feel comfortable sacraficing plus a second larger man's t-shirt that is too gross to allow your husband to wear again.
well fitting undergarments that represent what you will normally wear
marker
A sense of humor

Supplies for finishing:
A good quality hanger. I have really straight shoulders so I used one that came with one of Leo's suits, but you want your hanger to be similar to the slope of your shoulders and able to take a lot of strain. Look for wooden hangers or very strong metal hangers (not from the dry cleaner).
2-3 bags of fiberfill stuffing
A couple raglan shoulder pads
Cardboard
More duct tape


Cut off one sleeve of the man's tshirt. Cut off the portion of the same t-shirt below the sleeves. Sew the sleeve onto the neck of your t-shirt and use the second piece you cut off to sew a long skirt onto your tightly fitting t-shirt. This should protect any part of your body that will be covered in duct tape.

The outfit on the left was made of trash bags, surplus vinyl, biohazard bags, and a second-hand airplane belt, baseball pants, and t-shirt. The girl on the right is wearing the trash bag pleated skirt, and melted Target shopping bag lining. The belt is made of the same straps that the corset was made out of, with decorative silver surplus duct tape.
