“Twenty Years Later. The Soviet Man in the Post-soviet World”

2005 is the year of twenty-year anniversary from the beginning of the period in the country history and personal biographies which is called as perestroika. Perestroika conditionally divided Russian society life into “soviet” and “post-soviet”. The purpose of the conference is to highlight the “link of times” in science and public discussions, to mark succession and changes in post-soviet social practice, ideas, and life’s narratives.
