Keep Tahoe Blue: Lake Tahoe, California
I don't think I'll ever get over being utterly amazed at the marvel of human flight. Every time I fly, I am stunned that people don't fight over the window seats anymore. I love peering out airplane windows and seeing the clouds from above, and trying to identify landmarks below.
I shot this image of the southern half of Lake Tahoe out of the airplane window on my return flight from Colorado. I tried a polarizer, but it created crazy rainbows through the multi-plexi-window, so that meant one thing... a Holga-like effect was going to ensue. I'm a huge fan of crazy, dirty, funky plastic camera type images. I added a little funk to the image in post-processing, including the vignetting and blown areas, and I kept Tahoe blue.
