I got a package in the mail today from my dear friend Professor Mike Ryan. Inside I found lilacs from Lafayette, a T-shirt from his new gig, and an ant. (Mike claims the ant is a stowaway.) He is leaving Purdue to teach at the University of New Mexico. I'm so excited for him.
