It's Thursday evening, my flickr friends. The holiday weekend is nearly here. No big plans here ... I actually offered to work on Monday from 9-5pm.

But ... there is the hope ...

The hope that someone or many of you out there,
Has a sweet evening cookout graced with lots of friends and family,
In the comfort of yours or their very own backyard,
With twinkle lights hanging from the trees,
Mismatched linens draping old, wooden tables and sprinkled about the soft grass,
Smells of grilled foods juice-dripping to perfection,
Cold beverages of all flavors decorated with slices of fruits around the rims,
Candles lit and placed in all the most quiet of places,
A little music in the background that gets more soulful as the sunlight falls,
With memories made,
And life shared ~
