It captures and circulates air to insulate baby when the room temperature falls, and releases excess body heat and moisture as the room temperature rises. Baby stays warm and dry through night and day without overheating. Research shows merino is the ideal fabric for baby sleep sacks. A 2010 AgResearch study determined that babies sleeping in Merino Kids' newborn merino sleep sack are less likely to overheat or to become damp or chilled compared with synthetic polar fleece sleep sacks. Itch-free and allergy-safe. Naturally fire resistant; rated low fire risk. Machine washable, can be tumble-dried. Design Features Patented safety belt aperture enables safe travel in stroller or car seat. (9) Goodnight....baby One day last week, my brother John, got a call from friends to see if he and Kelly wanted to come out and play cards. It was well after 9:00 pm so they knew when they called it was short notice..... I remembered what it was like when my own two were so little and I only trusted my Mother to watch them.....no one else. I gathered my purse, camera and cellphone and off I trotted. It was nice for them to have a little "date" without the baby. Once I arrived....I found Marcus was already asleep. To some, that would be a relief as to not have to "care" for a baby. To Aunt Lisa....it was a disappointment. I already told them this....so it is not a surprise. I tiptoed up to his nursery.....spoke so softly and said "Marcus...Aunt Lisa is here....baby...baby....Aunt Lisa is here" I decided that when I lifted his little foot and it dropped like a piece of lead.....I realized I needed to only whisper once and let this baby rest. This is one of the photos I got ( I got a few ) I took of a sleeping and ever so tired little baby. He never even knew that, even in sleeping, Marcus and Aunt Lisa had one of our special "photo sessions". I just watched him a few days ago......he was awake. Wait till you see those special times we had. Aunt Lisa introduced Marcus to "drums ( pots and pans ) and his Mother's wooden spoons. Oh did he laugh and have such a good time. Photos to come... "now i lay me down to sleep" so you think this looks scarey? well it does. but it sounds even scarier. read on. unlike most of you, i don't have kids. so i don't have all the cute and funny kids stories. but i do have dogs. and this is funny. my dogs ruin anything remotely related to a stuffed animal. those of you w/ dogs know what i mean. they try to kill it i guess. not sure. anyway, they always seem to want to rip the face off first. so since i don't have kids, i was extremely freaked out one day when i was sitting here, flickring and heard a freaky voice from the other room "now i lay me down to sleep......" huh? what the??? went to check it out. it was this. they kidnapped this teddybear from the former downstairs neighbor kid, ripped off it's face and hit the voicebox. now, as i sit here in the wee hours of the morning flickring, i often hear, "now i lay me down to sleep....." they carry it around like a baby now. sorry downstairs neighbor kid.
