...this is what happnes when you play with pleats too much: you start seeing things in them... and then you have to abort your project and bring out more of what you see (hence the excess of precreasing... :-) This was originally going to be a tessellation, but a few folds during the precreasing suggested the form of a trilobite. And so that's what it became. Freakin' creativity, ruining my tessellatory aspirings... :-P
