Article text reads: Just a few short years ago, a small team of world-class cyclists set out to create frames and bicycles that rode at the same caliber they did. They wanted machines that were light enough to fly uphill, totally efficient so every ounce of power reached the ground, fine-tuned to soak up vibrations for ride-all-day compliance, and had the perfect geometry for a custom fit and phenomenal handling.

The result was Blue Competition Cycles, and their impressive bicycles immediately proved themselves achieving glory at nearly every major North American road race, in UCI cyclocross races, 24-hour MTB races, and even Olympic qualifiers.

Clearly, Blue bicycles live up to the company's "built to win" motto making them a great choice for your next dream bike. And, when you buy a Blue, you get the same exact design that Blue's sponsored athletes ride. Looking for a world-beating cross-country bike? You can get the same model Blue that Paolo Montoya commanded to a second place finish in the grueling La Ruta de los Conquistadores. Is road racing your game? You might choose the same Blue that Tina Pic piloted to criterium glory. You want to win and Blue makes it possible!

Beyond the eye candy of Blue's exotic tube shapes and bold, colorful graphics is cutting-edge research and design. Blue utilizes carbon-shaping technology borrowed from Formula 1 race cars, wind tunnel testing to ensure the utmost efficiency, tube and lug designs that minimize weight and maximize strength, and also sleek, light monocoque designs. Most importantly, every Blue is tested thoroughly by top riders long before it's put into production to ensure the final product is the best it can be.

Whether you prefer to play in the dirt or burn it up on the road, build your own or buy a complete, there's a Blue that'll carry you across the finish line of all your cycling goals. And the ride there will be nothing short of spectacular.

Stop by the shop and let us show you the many reasons Blue is our favorite color!

Day 11: The Resistance

Day 11: The Resistance

Heh. Get it? Wind resistance. Man. I can be really punny sometimes.

Anyway, today was tuesday. My first tuesday of school. Twas a delayed start, and it marked the "you've been here one full week now" mark. It's been a really good week back. Today I got up at around 10:30 to the charming sound of alexes alarm blasting at full volume, accompanied by the regret of missing my own alarm two hours earlier. That got me up quick :D Then a shower, 20 minute nap and breakfast with Claire, Meghan, Ashley, and Kahla, who had all just gotten out of class. Then I watched Episode 1 of the Universe (part of a TON of DVDs my very awesome uncle gave me for viewing pleasure during college) with alexis. Then went to Target to get tea, coffee, creamer, cereal, vanilla soy milk, a tea mug (plain white for viewing of the tea color) and foam swords. Then home, more universe, dinner with Casey and Justin (who rock) and Meghan (BFFL) and then a bike ride with Meghan during which I made a turn to fast and slid. Turns out hands don't agree well with pavement when that pavement is moving 20ish mies per hour under you. So after I slapped some bandaids on there and got the feeling in my hands and arms back 20 minutes later I regretted that turn. Anyway, back to the dorms for two episodes of lost and some general hanging out with friends and playing the N Game and then sleep at 12:30 or 1 am.

Wow. That was verbose.

Anyway, Here's an interesting picture from my trip to Grama's for Christmas back in 2010. I keep finding new wonderful pictures from that trip. Such good times.

I'm over a decade of days now! 355 to go!
