School trip in Maribor

petak , 31.03.2017.

Two years ago my class went on a school trip in Maribor, Slovenia. We were visiting "Hiša eksperimenatov" which means "The house of experiments". My friend Lucija was really impressed with that place (even thought she didn't understand everything that was going on haha). In order to prank her, I took a bottle, filled with water, in which there was a little corck, and if you squeesed the bottle, corck would sink to the bottom. My friend hadn't seen that bottle yet and I told her that she should see this trick: "If you pull this invisible string underneath the bottle (which, of course, didn't exist), you will pull this corck to the bottom". I sqeesed the bottle and pulled the "invisible string" and the corck sinked down. She was extremely impressed and immediately took the bottle to our teachers (one of them was actually our physics teacher) trying to show them that incredible trick. She pulled and pulled the "string" but the corck didn't sink to the bottom so she was really confused. Being quite humiliated, she didn't want to come across as dumb so she started pulling the string more energetically but it didn't help. Finally, one of the teachers finished her agony by telling her that she knows the corck sinkes down if you squeese the bottle. At that point Lucija's brain finally started to work and when she figured it all out, Lucija looked at me, all confused and angry and she loudly yelled my name. I was watching her the whole time and was laughing to her naivety. Even though she got quite embarrassed due to mine meanness, Lucija actually learned a valid point that she can't trust her friends so easily.

How an usual day can become fatal

Alarm rings, I wake up at 5:30 and start to prepare for the school. My day was plain it was the beginning of the second semester and it was time without any tests. The school day went great, hanging out with friends without oral examination and writing tests. When I came home from school, I was tired, and after lunch I wanted to rest, but I had to go to training. I did not want to go, but my mother said I would feel better so i went. „It was hard to get a frog in water.“ It was a Wednesday, 18.01., In the first five minutes of training I hurt my knee. While I was running to the ball, a boy pushed me and I fell on my knee. It immediately swollen and I could not walk. I think it could have been better if this time I did not listen to my mother. As the days passed, the pain in my knee was bigger. As I was going to the hospital Bračak doctors were always saying that everything is fine, but we had to seek the opinion of other doctors. Fortunately, this year I received a beautiful birthday present, after two long months, 21.3. I started to walk again without crutches thanks to dr. Smolčić.

Long - lost brothers

Greetings my dearest colleagues and everyone who stumble upon this blog! wave
I decided to start this assignment in the best possible way, with a funny story starring our classmate Patricija. But first, I wanna say that Patricija is really smart girl and these kind of stories don't happen everyday, that's why I wanted to share this special occasion with you all.

After a long day in school, we all get exhausted and 100% ready to go home, especially if the workweek just started and chemistry is the last subject you have that day (to everyone who loves chemistry sns). Last Tuesday Patricija felt really tired too, but that didn't stop her from coming up with the new ideas.
I'm sure you all noticed new decorations in our school and I have to admit that some of them are pretty awesome; there are funny ones, the meaningfull and inspirational, but there are few that really don't make sense. The one that i'm going to talk about is really funny, if you get it at first… well if you don't get it from the first try it's still funny though. So, Patricija and I were sitting on the bench near our lockers and talking about these artworks /decorations. All of a sudden Patricija started to laugh out loud. She had turned over to me, pointed at one of decorations and said – „ Hahaha, look! That is such a good idea, Mladen Grdović in jail !“ After her words, I couldn't do anything, except laugh for a solid two minutes. With the tears in my eyes I had to ruin her point of view. That was actually Nicolas in a cage, you know Nicolas Cage.We both busted out laughing.rofl
Till then I didn't even realise that two of them look alike. Ohh, who i'm I kidding? They don't. It just that, Patricija has some crazy imagination. nut

Here is the original artwork from our school.

And now, I have one important question for you guys. Do you see some similarities between the world famous actor Nicolas Cage and not so famous croatian pop singer Mladen Grdović? Are they maybe long-lost brothers? The world may never know. lud
