Cheap Trailer Wheels
- (Trailer wheel) A drive wheel is a roadwheel in an automotive vehicle that receives torque from the powertrain, and provides the final driving force for a vehicle. A two-wheel drive vehicle has two driven wheels, and a four-wheel drive has four, and so-on.

- relatively low in price or charging low prices; "it would have been cheap at twice the price"; "inexpensive family restaurants"
- (of prices or other charges) Low
- brassy: tastelessly showy; "a flash car"; "a flashy ring"; "garish colors"; "a gaudy costume"; "loud sport shirts"; "a meretricious yet stylish book"; "tawdry ornaments"

This is a photo of my 1986 Porsche 944. It is Guards Red over black leather with 16" Fuchs wheels.
It is a fully documented 3 owner car, and was delivered new to Maplewood Imports here in St. Paul Minnesota in early 1986. The car was originally purchased by a physician from Rochester, Minnesota. He owned the car for 17 years, then sold it to a high school teacher from Fridley, Minnesota. I purchased it in the summer of 2005 from him after a long search for a good 944.
It has absolutely no rust, no dash cracks, a lovely patina on the leather, and has clearly been stored indoors all of it's life. It is in outstanding condition for a 944 of this vintage, and 944s like it are becoming increasingly hard to find.
The car went 135,000 on the original 2.5 liter, SOHC engine before succumbing to a catastrophic mechanical issue. I am currently building a replacement 2.5 liter based on a 40,000 mile block and will be installing it in the car during September 2006.
I plan on owning this car for the rest of my life. It has provided a lot of joy for me and my future wife. These cars are not cheap to maintain - I've spent equal to the purchase price in maintenance already - but are wonderfully balanced and a great joy to drive. They also have a very special place in Porsche history, as many of the engine technologies used on their modern cars were pioneered in the 924/944/951/968 series.
Rose, Flatrock Camp
Flatrock Camp, Island Park Caldera, Idaho: Rose, intoxicated with joy at the simple pleasure of merely being encamped, commendably restrains her jubilant girlish effervescence, exhibiting rather her mystifying Mona Lisa physiognomy. (Why use one syllable when you can blow five?)
(Incidentally, I've found it helpful to carry a cheap torpedo level which I pull out of the cabinet nearest Rosie's door—the tool cabinet, reachable even when she's completely closed up—and put it on the tongue when I'm setting up. In most camps all it takes to level the rig is a few turns of the crank on the jack wheel until she comes plumb. The stabilizers are not load levelers, but these campers are so light that it's no trouble at all to just push 'em around the site until you find a naturally level spot (keep an eye on the level on the tongue), then level her fore'n'aft with the jack wheel. What could be simpler?)
