Ibanez Mandolins
- A musical instrument resembling a lute, having paired metal strings plucked with a plectrum. It is played with a characteristic tremolo on long sustained notes

- A mandolin (mandolino) is a musical instrument in the lute family (plucked, or strummed). It descends from the mandore, a soprano member of the lute family.
- (Mandolin (cooking)) A mandoline is a cooking utensil used for slicing and for cutting juliennes; with proper attachments, it can make crinkle-cuts. It consists of two parallel working surfaces, one of which can be adjusted in height.
- Ibanez (ai-bahn-ez) is a Japanese guitar brand owned by Hoshino Gakki. Based in Nagoya, Aichi, Japan, Hoshino Gakki were one of the first Japanese musical instrument companies to gain a significant foothold in import guitar sales in the United States and Europe.
- (Ibanez S) The Ibanez S Series (also known as the Ibanez Saber Series) is a guitar series produced by Hoshino Gakki. This series was introduced in the late 1980s.

Happy Birthday to ME! I traded in my old Ibanez acoustic guitar and got a brand new Ibanez mandolin! (With some extra $$ on my part...)
I intended to just get a Uke, but it felt WAY too small, and this mandolin felt just right!

New tuners
The mano was actually cheap so I shouldn't be surprised at the junk tuners. These new ones are really nice. Pearl buttons and all. Now this baby is really worth taking out to shows.
