XR-5000 "The Equinox" Heavy Submachinegun This odd weapon uses a helical mag-fed system which can be chambered to house the .45, .357, .44 and .50 AE. This model shown uses the .44 and has a 50 round mag (double stacked). It was designed to be both fired from the hip and the shoulder as well as to be optionally ambidextorous. Was used worldwide until it was replaced by the XR-5001 which came with an integrated bi-pod and a longer barrel. Got my inspiration from my bari-sax, believe it or not. Credit to Badenian for the compensator. Horns Back in the day, I used to play bari sax. Having the gig open with a bari sax honking, literally honking what might've been a bottom Bb (I've not got the ear anymore...) was amazing!
