2010 MAKE UP TIPS

I love this pic because I think I look like a muppet in it. Not in a bad way or anything...just very muppet-like =D

1. I own a salon called Sparkle Beauty Bar with my sister. I also own a cosmetics line called KeelieNicole Makeup Artistry.

2. Before beauty school I went to school to become a wildlife biologist.

3. I love all that is mod...especially decor. If I weren't doing makeup right now my career would be as an interior designer. My work would always include a mod twist.

4. My grandparents started the KFC chain on the West coast with their partner Mr. Colonel Sanders.

5.Last month I lost my mom (so I lost a best friend as well)

6.People often tell me I have a "joker" smile

7. I'm an airbrush makeup artist and work on things such as magazine shoots, commercials, music videos and movies.

8. I have a large lower back tattoo of Kira from The Dark Crystal. My mom drew it <3

9.on myspace I have a whole photo album devoted to and filled with pictures of me hugging different animals.

10. I am not Irish at all even though my name is Keelie, my hair is red and my eyes are green.

11. My sister was recently on the "think like a cat" gameshow and won $10,000

12. I work with cancer patients to help make their treatments more comfortable (regarding hair loss, skin issues, etc)

13. I have a weakness for any item (shirt, pants, jacket) that has double "sailor style" buttons.

14.I yearn to be in a musical. I used to act often and I really miss it.

15. I am married and live with my wonderful husband, 2 cats (parsnip and noodle) and two Rottweilers (marmalade and barnaby)

16. My most recent makeup job was working on a series of Foo Fighter music videos. I've been lucky to have had some pretty cool job experiences.

I received my new airbrush and compressor yesterday and today I'm giving it a first try.
It's quite difficult to use! By now I'm only drawing lines, dots, and wonky faces.
