I literally spent over 4 hours there. It was a great day. Beautiful weather, all the people in Ocean Grove are SO friendly and so nice, I got a whole bunch of good stuff, and it was a nice bonding experience for my mother and I. I'm usually a daddy's girl, but my mom and I share the love of bargain shopping. My sister and my dad aren't into the whole garage sale and flea market bargain hunting thing. We love it. =] I got 2 Kevyn Aucoin makeup books (they're SO amazing, I love that man) for $1.50 each (they're usually mad expensive), lacey black heels for $1, cute tights (50 cents each), and I got a polaroid camera! I don't know if it's a hobby I'm gonna keep up (it's gonna get expensive to keep having to buy film), but hey, experimenting never hurts. I'm excited to try it out. My camera kept dying on me, so I had to conserve the battery so I only got those ^ 3 pictures of my favorite "treasures" (I didn't buy any of them, I decided to just take pictures of them. That's how I fight the urge to buy stuff: "Am I really gonna need this? No. I'm gonna get bored of it in 5 seconds. It's only nice to look at. I'll just take a picture of it. Yay now I'm content"). June 2009 Part 2 ...And speaking of annual traditions, it was time for BBW's semi-annual sale again. I think I'm doing better now than in the past -- this was my only visit to and purchase from BWW during the sale. Each of the Mentha lip balms (Brown Betty Mint, VIntage Rouge Mint, Baby Pink) were 75 cents each, so I couldn't pass that up. The boyfriend loves Mentha body washes for the shower, so I got two for $5. The Lemon body wash and Rose Water were also ridiculously cheap. Stopped into a CCO, and picked up MAC Raven Kohl Power, Spiked Eye Brows, and Bonus Beat lipgloss. Bonus Beat was a little bit disappointing, and was a lot more "yellow" than I thought. The Raven Kohl power went on smoothly, but I have to say that its going to get a little bit of practice to get used to the brow pencil.
