Operation Baby Shower
Being that I've never attended a baby shower, imagine how worried I was when presented with the idea of throwing one, and an out of state baby shower for that matter. My cousin, Amy, is the closest thing to a sister to me and even knowing that she would have been perfectly happy with just a quick little get-together, I just couldn't disappoint. In my book, it's either do it up, or not do it at all. With hot glue gun in hand, I gladly accepted my position, and immediately started researching, and strategizing with my co-host, Dora (Amy's sister). Three months? No sweat. I say, "Bring it."
My first Baby Shower Cake!
So, here is the backstory to this cake.... I wasnt expecting to have my son a month early, so when I booked this cake I WAS SO EXCITED! my first baby shower cake!
The client had sent me a few pictures she liked and we came up with this final cake with a rattle holding bear!
So, low and behold, the day I came home from the hospital after having my son, I was making this cake!!! lolol
But, it was worth it because of how happy the momma to be was!
The cake was a devils food cake, with vanilla filling and vanilla cake with vanilla filling.
