(16) Amish in the City Forgive my ignorance; not sure if these are really "Amish" or not ... but they just moved into the mega mansion type house on Kalorama right on the corner from me in Adams Morgan. Seemed like an odd choice of location to pick to live; they also have placed some religious reading materials outside that house -- I am all for free expressions, but sort of brings down the neighborhood in my opinion. The house they moved into is newly constructed; must be worth well over 4 million -- either these peps are mega rich or The CW is filming another reality show we don't know about. Spring Street Inn We stayed here 2 nights and it was just lovely. Very comfortable and cozy suite of 2 rooms. Wonderful queen bed and beautiful Amish furniture in bedroom, fold out couch in sitting room for kids.
