Made in Denmark" Beautifully designed 1960s teak Danish floating wall unit signed with Danish furniture makers control label and stamped "H.G. Made in Denmark" on back. Hansen & Guldborg Top display cabinet features glass doors with half moon wood pulls and measures: 27" Height x 35" Width x 12" Depth” Includes two adjustable shelves. Bottom media storage cabinet is finished inside in a beautiful contrasting birch and measures: x 21" Height x 35" Width x 16" Depth. Perfect for any stereo/media equipment as it includes a small port hole that was factory cut for any needed cable runs. Doors can be opened from the front as well as the top lid that has a strong piano style hinge.This could be used as a media cabinet for stereo components. These units can be configured in several ways and adjusted to any height. It comes complete with pair of 97" teak mounting rails and all related hardware. Pieces in excellent condition. A step towards securing this was taken with the launch of the National School of Furniture this month, which brings together courses at Bucks New University in High Wycombe and Oxford & Cherwell Valley College,to provide a full range of qualifications right through to PhD level. The NSF was launched at the headquarters of the Worshipful Company of Furniture Makers and our own Edward Tadros, ercol's chairman, gave the keynote speach, reporting the recent interest in British design on a trade mission to Japan and reminiscing about how the Old Man, ercol's founder, had taught design at what is now Bucks New University almost a century ago.
