(17) mid-century modern leather and zebrawood armchair ($135 OBO) this chair feels like sitting in a gigantic baseball mitt! (but less sweaty.) dark brown (almost black) leather and very pretty zebrawood frame. the seat, arms, and back are one continuous padded, leather-clad form which cradles you lovingly. an added leather bolster serves as a headrest. i bought it from a couple that sources midcentury vintage furniture, and i don't know my furniture well, but i've seen something similar in design museums... it's been banged up some, and you'll see that the leather is by no means new -- it's faded and even starting to split a bit, especially along one seam. there's also a piece of leather webbing underneath that will need to be mended. all these flaws notwithstanding, this chair is so amazingly comfortable that i am very reluctant to part with it, but i'm moving into a small apartment and won't have the space. i'm selling it so cheap because i am moving in four days and can't wait around to sell it for a fair price... Day 223/365 today started off a little late. i was up pretty late, had a lot to think about. my mom surprised me a lot today, went to ikea, just the two of us, and got stuff for my room. ive been thinking about redoing it for awhile now but i guess now we're just going to do it piece by piece. so i got a new leather chair which was actually kinda cheap and then my mom told me she couldn't wait any longer and gave me an "early christmas present" and i got a new vizio hdtv! which i thought was pretty sick. also, if you didn't already notice the cabinet doors, i ripped all the stickers and notes and lyrics down. a fresh new start is in order. maybe for you too (: goodnight and God bless. p.s. i hate wearing socks (top picture) but i have to keep this blister wrapped because i popped it and...ugh i dont wanna get into it. it's pretty gross just ask brendan.
