Elvis Presley's 1966 Rolls Royce Silver Cloud at the Graceland Mansion in Memphis, Tennessee
This is a photograph that I took of Elvis Presley's 1966 Rolls Royce Silver Cloud at his Graceland mansion in the city of Memphis, Tennessee. Although Elvis was extraordinarily wealthy, he had a habit of buying "used" cars. He bought this Rolls Royce secondhand.....it had previously been used by Michael Landon, Charlie Rich, and Charlie McClain. I guess that Elvis never lost the quality of buying used to make it through hard times.....something he must have learned growing up poor in the housing projects in Memphis.
