Blanket of Love
Made for the blankets of love program, where parents of babies lost soon after birth are given a small handmade quilt to wrap their baby in and take home as a memento of their baby.
The BOL challenge was run by Down Under Quilts, and a fat quarter of fossil fern fabric was sent out to each participant. I landed the green seen in this quilt. Part of the challenge was to try and use as much of that FQ as possible in the quilt. I managed to use all but a skinny 1cm strip, so now I know exactly how far a FQ goes!
My second completed quilt.
Fatty Paddy
Had to get some shots of this little tubby before he starts walking and loses all the chub.
