colour - is there no end to it?
You get your red yellow and blue watercolour paints. And - here's the magic! - mix them in pairs to get green, orange and purple. That still amazes me, like it did at primary school!
It troubles me a little that the secondary colours are so dull...
People have been very generous with their thoughts and explanations of my photos so far...
What's goiing on?? Am I not mixing them right?
Carravaggio Colour Wheel
I had such fun creating these pages - inspired by my study at the time of Carravaggio's work, & how he used deep, rich colours, I created this on a textured base made with gel medium, paint & gold leaf. I then worked up the pears & the colour wheel using the MOST delicious - Senellier oil crayons. MY GOODNESS they are yummy!
