We're getting crowded again! Bikes are packed 5 deep on several racks after Sunnyvale (morning northbound)

While Caltrain revenue declines due to dropping passenger counts, demand for bike space remains high and often exceeds supply on Baby Bullet service between San Francisco and San Jose.

This northbound 329 bullet, for example, had only 10 bike spaces available when we departed San Jose this morning. About 20 cyclists were waiting at Sunnyvale when we arrived, and several cyclists were bumped at Sunnyvale, which is the third stop (out of 8) for this train.

I hear the bike cars are still filled to capacity on southbound trains leaving San Francisco 4th & King in the mornings.

This bike rack is a good example as to how the Biology Building is trying to be "green". This is a transportation alternative vehicle parking such as bikes and scooters. This reduces air pollutants from cars.
