I am a street photographer I shoot pain littered on the streets I shoot beggars beggar kids hijras and the dregs of humanity..
Once upon a time I did shoot what all of you shoot without bias or choice but gradually I began evolving as a photographer into the skin of a photo blogger..but one fact remained I shot what I shot through the eyes of a street photographer .

I in all humility am a street photographer and I shoot on impulse and truly God guides me as someone has to shoot shit too, metaphoric shit or garbage on the streets I shoot to hone my skill unlearning photography.


Here at GSB I was on hallowed grounds and though the Lord knew the kind of genre I shoot he directed me to those moments I captured to share with people who could no visit the GSB Seva Mandal one reason or another .

However I dd receive one message last year from a GSB person settled abroad who looks forward to my GSB Ganesha King Circle pictures as much as his Christian wife waits for me to upload my Mount Mary pictures

So this evening being in a depressed state of mind I walked up the hill to lighten my soul and shot the Mount Mary Feast for her and it distressed me further the entire road up the Mount was barren all the stalls missing and the crowds missing ..memories all gone the vendors were grumbling no sales , the urchins I shot them too said people had become miserly this year than before.


And my grand daughter would have accompanied me shooting street pictures too but she is at her mothers home town..

So I shot Lal Bagh Chya Raja before it was opened to the public I shot the Idd U Fitr Namaz , Lord GSB Ganesha and the Lady of the Mount all back to back including a few picture f the Bandra Jains and Micchami Dukhadam.

Before all this I shot the 21 Ramzan Shia mourning day Martyrdom of Imanm Ali , the Dadar Dahi Handi and the Vartak Nagar Pratap Sarnaiks Dahi Handi.

But I must confess I shot the Idd Station Road Namaz and the GSB Ganesha with the poetic freedom of my soul without restrain though I hate camera flash and being a diabetic I tire out easily my legs are in very bad shape I shoot barefeet and my left leg is swollen up once again.

This photo was clicked on the immersion day. Ganpati festival in india last for 10 days. on the first day the idol of Lord Ganpati is bought home and for 10 days people worship the idol and on the 10 day the idol is immersed.
