Gorgeous Hussy Ring
I bought a ring ages ago that was similiar to the ring that Miss Joan Crawford wore in the movie "The Gorgeous Hussy". The simulated ruby stone was raised, just like this sparkly red bead is on the ring i made and off to the side of the ruby were rhinestones, the clear ab faceted glass beads symbolize the rhinestones from the ring,which then turns the whole ring into the name i chose for it.."Gorgeous Hussy".
I used 18 gauge red wire for this piece and wrapped it around a wooden mandrel and was left on the mandrel to be hammered to insure the sturdiness of the ring.
