Metal Shutter Shades
- Shutter Shades are a design of slatted sunglasses commercially available since the 1980s, designed by Alain Mikli.

Nauerna, Holland
Colt have installed a Solarfin solar shading system with thermohydraulic controls which adjusts to allow daylight entry. Colt also installed Solarfin on the glass roof of the central hall, and controllable louvre modules in sliding units on the north side
of the building for sun shading.
Fairmont Towers, Egypt
Controllable Solarfin solar shading louvres were installed around the edge of the Fairmont towers building to provide solar protection during the hottest part of the day.
The louvre can then when it cools open to allow natural daylight into the building.
