(Carpet Tile) A flooring tile made from a stiff-backed carpet material. Replacing worn, stained, or damaged carpet tiles is much easier than replacing an entire carpet, making them ideal for use in extremely high trafffic areas such as building lobbies and airport concourses.

Quadrant clock
The three-faced clock which used to stand in the middle of the Quadrant shopping centre. If I remember correctly, in its final years it functioned better as a work of art than as a timepiece.
This view show Times Furnishing, a name long-gone from retailing. I think this is where New Look is now located.
The slide (taken by my father) I scanned this from is dated January 1969, and judging from the coloured light-bulbs and Salvation Army band was probably taken in December 1968.

Also: "From the $170s to $400s" - I don't think they understand what "from" means...
