The canopy
We were visiting some distant friends living in a old and dignified mansion full of valuable traditional furniture. They accomodated my parents in a really beautitul room with a big bed under a huge canopy, which left my mother quite perplexed. As you can see here. She was just a bit concerned with old gothic stories of possible ghosts, poltergeists and the like, but they eventually slept comfortably and peacefully, as they confessed to me the morning after.
Iron bed 1
We really like the simplicity of this bed and the way the blackness will standout in the bedroom. The ceiling height in the master bedroom will not allow a full canopy but since these beds are bench made the style can be made to order.
