Amaryllis Macro #1
Captured through the kit lens with a reverse-mounted 50mm, at f/2.0 and focused on infinity. Working distance is extremely close, about 10mm from the lens' tip.
Speedlite 420EX on camera left, at 45° behind subject, triggered by an ST-ET wireless transmitter. Ambient lighting from window behind me.
Amaryllis Macro on Kit Lens (1)
I tried reverse-mounting my Pentax 50mm, aperture at f/2, on the EF 18-55mm IS kit lens at f/8 and 1/125 sec. exposure. Vignetting is present in the corners.
Note: Speedlite 420EX at camera front, fired by ST-E2 wireless transmitter on camera. Ambient lighting from a table lamp.
