156/365 I love little vintage bits and bobbles
I bought a shoebox full of crafted christmas decorations and tiny plastic reindeer. These were in that box, I still remember the sale, I paid $1 for the box and another $ for misc. kitchen linens, and I bought a handful of sweet childrens printed hankies, a quilt for $10, a giant enamelwear crock for when I make soaps, some childrens books from the 1950's, and many more little bits.
I remember walking into the large backyard at this estate sale and seeing her apple trees growing wild, her laundry line was rusting, her veggie garden was overgrown. I wished that it was my backyard to clean up, and bring back to life. The woman that lived here was an artist, she had paints and canvases. She was a crafter, with yarns, embroidery floss, bags of extra fabric, silk flowers and baskets filled her garage. I wished I would have known her.
