Single Guy Decorating Attempt
I am trying to make this 200 year-old house presentable. Here is what I am working on now. I have posted 5 different pictures for critique.
Seeking input.
1. Should I go with all of the frames black, like I have on the left side or, should I go for the more whimsical and homey (as my sister Laura put it) look, like I did on the right, by mixing frames?
2.Should I use all black and white photos ,or all color, or a combination? The frame on the left bottom-center is a digital frame..color or BW there?
3. Should i use the same matting in all of the frames or mix it up?
4. Are there too many cameras, not enough (have more) or just right?
5. Have I been watching HGTV too much?

My favorite picture on the wall is the one of my father, holding a cigarette in amazement.
