ENT-ERESTING TREES- THE ISENGUARD
(BEST VIEWED TREEMENDOUSLY LARGE)
"Trees are coming back to live here, old trees, wild trees. The Watchwood we will call it. Not a squirrel will go here, but I shall know of it. Leave it to Ents! Until seven times the years in which he tormented us have passed, we shall not tire of watching him."
Treebeard.
The Lord Of The Rings: The Two Towers
By J.R.R Tolkien.
This magnificent ruin of a gum tree stands guard in the middle of a drained ornamental lake (the Australian drought, you know) in the Sir William Fry Reserve near the Westfield Southland Shopping Centre in Cheltenham, Melbourne, Victoria.
It reminds me of the aftermath of the Battle of Isengard in The Lord Of The Rings, where the Ents were tasked with standing watch over the steaming remains of Saruman's fortified camp and the Tower of Orthanc.
Of course, in the Ent, they let Saruman go. I dunno, bloody trees, sometimes their bark is worse than their bite!
The Gift Shop
I threw glow sticks at Josh Thomas while he was running out onto stage.
I don't know if you've noticed but I've been away for a while. I've been overseas and when I came back last week I really didn't feel like uploading anything. I have been swamped with school work and I'm actually feeling extremely tired. My exams are also coming up so I'm going to try my hardest to upload stuff as much as is humanly possible during the next 6 weeks.
This is a shot I took of my cousin and sister in a gift store on my birthday on Saturday. I took it with a blue lomo that my cousin bought last time I was in Sydney. I have a green one but it's not working so I think I'll just replace the film and try again.
I really like this but you can give criticism. I don't really care.
