K2 Base Camp
K2 Base Camp (red tents, center, view Large), as seen from up-glacier towards Advanced Base Camp. Base Camp elevation is 16,500 feet. K2 rises to the photo's right and Broad peak to the left. The Gilkey Memorial, the traditional memorial site for climbers and porters who died during expeditions, is at the far left of the rock ridge leading down from the near right.

Base Camp Ti
It looks green here, but it is titanium. I have been wanting this watch and have had trouble tracking it down. Even in the shop where I got this (Harvard Square, Church Street), they showed me three other watches and I had to point out to them how it wasn't correct. Finally a watch I can read.
