The Hockey Sweater Lesson
A hockey jersey, traditionally called a sweater (due to it originally being made from sweater material, such as wool), is a piece of clothing worn by hockey players to cover the upper part of their bodies.
"The Hockey Sweater" ("Le chandail de hockey" in the original French; originally published as "Une abominable feuille d'erable sur la glace" ["An abominable maple leaf on the ice"]) is a short story published in 1979 by Canadian author Roch Carrier.

Hockey Sweater
This looks big, bulky and uncomfortable to wear...but boy oh boy it isn't. A woman near my house has her own sheep and spins the roving from them. This sweater is the warmest sweater I own! Can't remember what type of wool but I know there is silk and alpaca mixed in. The pink is Blue Sky Alpacas Bulky.
What I like best about this sweater is the unique colors she has in the green. Her design, my interpretation. Can't remember what I changed it was so long ago!
