1-Original Hole
This is the original hole in the wall. See that black plastic tubing? It had come completely detached from that aluminum duct above it and had fallen down towards the bottom of the "chase" (that enclosed space it is in). This resulted in Hanna's wall becoming VERY hot to the touch...and us paying to heat the NW side of Indy.
The hole was only 14.5" wide by 16.5" tall. But it was much bigger than the "nail holes" I am used to patching. For a job this size, I had to buy a book and learn a bit about actual drywall repair.
Running repairs
Not bad timing. This wall collapsed just over a month ago and it was repaired this morning. The mortar being used does contrast sharply with the original brickwork. I suppose he knows what he is doing.
