Biodiesel Transfer Pump
- An in-tank pump, used on many Bosch and some other fuel injection system, that boosts the fuel pressure slightly before the fuel is sucked into the main pump, in order to prevent cavitation.
- A biofuel intended as a substitute for diesel

18-wheeler using biodiesel?
According to the sticker, this truck was running on biodiesel. I didn't realize any semis had been converted, and I'm a little surprised...I certainly haven't seen any biodiesel pumps at the truck stops I've been to recently.
Biodiesel Behind Bars
Biodiesel is hard to find. This "station" in Fort Worth, TX is locked behind barbed wires - with no sign even indicating what hours it might be open.
