Great Aunt and Uncle Wedding Collage
I made up this collage many years ago in a kind of shadowbox effort (before shadow boxes were known). Part of the excitment of this was that I had a nice lot of reminders of their lives. Wedding certificate (Dec 25th), Battenburg collar she wore at wedding, her tiny golden wire edged glasses, picture of each of them on the wedding day (see collar matches lace in frame?), his sterling silver match case, and two small enamel pins of hers. The oak frame is antique (has a bit of plaster embellishment damage) and the photo of her has slipped down. I shan't disturb it......
Photobooth1
My mom and I in the photobooth with the picture frame I spray painted silver.
Our photobooth was my laptop, with a webcam on it. I brought in a lamp for lighting, and taped a table cloth to the wall for the backdrop.
