My grandparents traveled a lot.........
I'm trying to clean out and organize my garage / basement. There are boxes of my dad's things -- that I have not been able to go thru until now. It's a combination of trash (my dad was a pack-rat - saved EVERYTHING) and treasures. This is one of the treasures.
I've been reading newspaper articles, and old letters that were among the papers -- In the process I've learned a lot about my grandfather Watkins that I never knew...... it seems he was a fascinating man. I wish I had known him. I never knew him because...... he died the first time he saw me, when I was 4 days old...... seriously.
The couple on the right (on the camels) are my grandparents. Yes, I think that's a Shriner's hat.....

Day 190.365 Bindi Me
My daughter has been cleaning out her closet for the past two days (yes, lot o' stuff). In addition to the shin guards discovered for soccer tomorrow....she also found a bunch of stick-on bindis.
