These are an injection of metallic fun in your summer vacation! The golden color of the leather upper is deeper and richer than a yellow gold, and is more a bronzey tone, and it's grounded by the texture of a golden painted woven textile on the wedge-platform, which has a nice rubber sole for traction. The peeptoe is sizable enough to show off that pedicure, and the buckle of the ankle strap features reinforced grommets for a chunkier-hardware style that's made to last. I think these look great with jeans and cropped pants, and aside from adding zing to blacks and whites and navys, the flashy gold can act as a funky neutral to the saturated fuschias and electric blues and emerald greens we're seeing all over these days. I wore these a couple of times, but they're a little big for me (sized 10 when I'm more of a 9/9.5 kind of girl). In great shape and ready for a new home!
