Demystifying Switched Capacitor Circuits (Demystifying Technology, Vol. 1)

This book helps engineers to grasp fundamental theories and design principles by presenting physical and intuitive explanations of switched-capacitor circuits. Numerous circuit examples are discussed and the author emphasizes the most important and fundamental principles involved in implementing state-of-the-art switched-capacitor circuits for analog signal processing and power management applications. Throughout the book, the author presents numerous step-by-step tutorials and gives practical design examples.

While some quantitative analysis is necessary to understand underlying concepts, tedious mathematical equations and formal proofs are avoided. I was right. ha! it was those 2 bad 'blown' caps (green things, foreground).

I happened to have some larger voltage spec parts on hand (being a pack-rat helps sometimes!) and after a little unsoldering and resoldering, it powers up and runs just fine, now!

I guess I can just trim the excess leads (silver metal 'pin' sticking out from below) and then box it back up and put it back into operation. in fact, this is now a 'super switch' since it has upgraded power supply parts and will outlast ANY replaced netgear switch.
