Water Furnace Air Filters
- (air filter) a filter that removes dust from the air that passes through it

Furnace and water heater. Not visible are the air conditioning condensation pipe which violates county ordinances and I tripped over four times during the inspection, and the inoperable sump pump. Once again, though, as far as systems are concerned, I got off lightly. The three biggies (furnace, A/C, and water heater) are all in good working order. I do need to get my ductwork cleaned and replace the filter on the furnace.
Heat exchanger
The heat exchanger handles 80K BTUs which is what is needed for the hot air furnace. Somehow, there is 500 sq. foot surface area of copper coil inside this cylinder to cycle/filter the water between the boiler and the furnace coil. The water comes in to the exchanger on a steel pipe and leaves in a copper pipe and heads to the furnace.
