Mom: [laughs] That's an adorable picture of Bobby. Look at those fat legs! Those chunky legs!
Me: I notice that you put carpet in.
Mom: Yeah, that's because it was cold for babies to crawl on — we didn't have a full basement so the den floor was directly on cement.
Me: And the furniture has been re-upholstered.
Mom: Yeah, I never liked the new fabric. Notice how big Bobby's hands are. And look at his little white saddle shoes.
Lovin our new Carpet
We are so happy with the purchase of our new living room carpet. We stopped by the Gottchalks liquidation sale and got a great deal on a 100% wool hand-tufted carpet. We got some cusshy carpet padding and now have a great place to roll around with the baby when he/she comes in November.
I found the exact carpet on four or five websites for between $1000 & $1500. We got ours for $350.
