These kinds of carpets are so versatle and hardwearing, I think the synthetic imitations, which I presume these are, come from India. So much the better; they're washable! I have a round, made in China, which can even be put in a washing machine.
Much as it might be nice to have a double-knotted Iranian rug from Isfahan, it's not always necessary or practicable.

Studio carpet
In an odd kind of way I like this carpet- do you think I should keep it and cover in clear, or replace with more hardwearing flooring?
