Some years ago, a friend (& creative jewelry maker), asked me to take some promotional photos of her earrings. "Something surprising or unusual, you know. Images that would really stand out."
"Well," I told her, "I have these great sun-whitened cow bones. They might make a great backdrop for your colorful stuff." After a minute or two, she said, "Yeah, go for it!"
