It reminds me of an earthy forest canopy.
I hand dyed this piece using low water immersion technique with procion fiber reactive dyes in shades of golden brown, forest green, brazilnut and bronze with natural highlights where the dye danced around.

I thought the patterns made by the silhouettes of the gum trees over hanging the little mini-marquee set-up would make excellent textures for future design work ^_^
