Spring!
The porcelain heart and horse are actually Christmas ornaments but I see no harm in using hearts and horses all year round.
They were the only Chirstmas decoration still left around, as together with a tree and a angel, they decorated the...yes...still alive and green Christmas tree in the veranda. It is going to be put away this weekend though.
And while the porcelain tree& angel are on their way to their lovely box until next year, the heart & horse are staying.
The living room
Mom: The apartment came out really nice in this. And I also put the leaf in the table, and made it oblong instead of round.
Me: And why is that?
Mom: Well, I guess I was experimenting with changing things around. You know, in those days, I actually moved all that stuff around by myself. Even the big pieces.
Me: Was that I hard?
Mom: Yeah, like the breakfront? Well, I had to take everything out of it first.
