- A wheel clamp (American English: Denver boot or wheel boot) is a device that is designed to prevent vehicles from moving. In its most common form, it consists of a clamp which surrounds a vehicle wheel, designed to prevent removal of both itself and the wheel.

The wing was made to clamp onto the handle bars. ... The wide angle camera lens makes it look bowed - it wasn't.
I had seen expensive pedal-powered airplanes in stores and expensive mail-order kits to build you own. ... They always involved constructing or installing a pedal mechanism and wheels. ... I hit upon the idea to modify something that already had high quality pedals and wheels.
The grandkids loved it and so did the neighbor kids ... so much so that they completely wore it out.
Since it was a bicycle it could go anywhere and could go faster than the typical pedal car. ... The wings and fuselage and propeller and rudder and elevator allowed them to pretend they were flying an airplane. We joked about going fast enough to take off.
Since the wing was pretty wide, there were some concerns about "mowing down" children on the sidewalk.
